Ask yourself, how prepared is my business for a marketing campaign?
Do you have your business brand in place?  This means your logo.  The image or set of text that will be representing you as a business in the world. 

What about your Business profile? 
When you list yourself online, make sure your presence is as professional as can be.  Your photo - does it represent you professionally?  You don't have to be in a stuffy suit to look professional, just think would you be interested in knowing more about this person and her product? 
Next make sure your wording reflects who you are and what your business offers.  Your Website and email should ALWAYS be included with your name.  This offers people a door to your world!  Take caution with your listings, make them Short, Sweet and Friendly, and to the point!

Having a business website is SO IMPORTANT if you want to be present in the business world.  A website offers customers a place to see who you are and what you offer them.  Some web building sites are free, such as webs.com or weebly.com.  You have to spend money to create or host them but the catch is they sell ads on your website.  (Sometimes its not a bad deal since it may appear like you have sponsors or advertisers on your site, meaning you're doing so well that advertisers are interested in sponsoring you.)

If you are an independent representative that has to have a website through your main company, no worries, you can customize a free Blog to just quote your daily adventures or thoughts as well as selling yourself as an independent rep for a company!  Try blogger.com

I am Rose DeMarco; my company is S&R Notary Solutions.  I am a College Business & Computer Professor for the past 30 years for SDSU and every community college from the border to San Jacinto including k-12.  I am now semi-retired and now teach a few courses online.  I am a Navy Veteran and have served my country proudly for 20 years.  I have been a consultant for business since 1989.
