As mothers, we are perfect nurturers to our children, family and friends.  But when do we take the time to nurture ourselves? 

As women entrepreneurs, we are perfect nurturers to our customers, contacts and connections... But when do we take time to nurture ourselves?

As leaders, we are perfect nurturers to the world... But when do we take time to nurture ourselves?

Take the time today and give a little to yourself and feed your bliss!  Do not leave yourself last... you must be well nurtured to nurture others.

This is a tough lesson learned as I always want to do so much for everyone, but in the process, left beautiful me last in line. Our bodies let us know when too much is too much!

Balance is Key!  List your priorities: God, You, Family, Fun, Business, Exercise, Customers, Finances, Events, etc.   and see how you are on the balance scale. 

Be that amazing Nurturer you were born to be,
just remember to nurture yourself first!

Just recently my daughter Arlen received her new phone cover we ordered from Jenna with Clothes4Phones.com, a member of Sweet Social Success.  This cover was very special.  You see, she doesn't have a fancy smart phone just a simple beginners phone appropriate for a 10 year old. 

It's plain looking, nothing jazzy about it.  With all the cool phone covers out there, she really wanted to get one for her Samsung Evergreen phone but after searching mall after mall we had no luck.  Needless to say she was pretty bummed.  I offered to buy some sticky gems to stick some "bling" to the phone and that seemed to make her content.

At the 24 hour networking online event, from The Networking Cafe, I found out Jenna offered so many cool phone stuff.  I dared to ask if she carried something for the Evergreen phone and to my wonderful surprise.... she did!   I quickly ordered and  then told my daughter the news!  WOW!  You would have thought this was Christmas and she received the biggest present ever!  She could not stop smiling!  Jenna had changed my litle girls status from content to explosively excited!... with one phone cover! 

At the same time we were planning her birthday party and she wanted to have a super cool and special cookie monster invitation.  I immediately thought of Send Out Cards because they offer so many custom features.  We created a super cool, custom invite and send it off to be mailed. 

We received our copy of the Cookie Monter invitation last Thursday and when she received it, tore open the envelope and screamed " Oh My Gosh, This is exactly what I wanted!!!"

Then she said... "Mom, if it wasn't for Sweet Social Success, we would've never known Jenna or Juanita and I wouldn't have these Awesome things!"  "I'm so happy we have Sweet Social Success!"

This comment made me reflect on the many, many connections we have brought to people...  I hear this all the time.  I feel in awe, that my 10 year old got the Sweet Social Success concept too.   I am so grateful Sweet Social Success came to be!

As you have seen or heard, Sweet Social Success has grown incredibly fast in the last four months!  We have increased our members, chapters, and events!  So Awesome!  And it could'nt have happened without You!  THANK YOU!   

Now, we're in need of group Volunteers who want to do more for
Sweet Social Success and its members!

Here are the Areas to Help/Volunteer:

- Calendar Team  
(A group of 3-5 women who have a computer, are computer savy and can help with community calendar listings, organizing events calendar and web postings)

- Special Events Team
(A group of  8-12 women that will help plan, organize, and carry out Special Events)

Marketing and Promotion Team
(A group of 5 women who will work with the community in marketing and promoting our events)

(2 person who is very comforable with computers and techie too)

OTHER Areas:
(If you have a special talent, you'd like to share with us, that will help our group... please let us know!)

My name is EvaMarie Williams. I am an Independent Consultant for The Pampered Chef and most recently Arbonne. Busy, busy, busy! lol I am the proud wife of a U.S. Marine and mother to 6 and yet I still find time to get out and do what I love!

It is my dream to bring families back together at the dinner table....to cut down the amount of time we spend in the kitchen so that we have more time for our families. To also involve our spouses and children in the meal making process...helping and building memories as a family. I remember dinner every night at the table with my parents when I was younger and not just on Sunday, but everyday. The ideas and conversations and problems that were solved over one meal. It is something I continue to do with my own family.

I am an Independent Consultant for The Pampered Chef. We have a wonderful selection of stoneware, cutlery, bakeware, serving pieces and even cookware. We are proud of our Group with more that 280+ members chapter wide and the recent addition of the two new branches;  Women Entrepreneurs Linked Leaders and The Networking Cafe!  Who debuted 10 days ago and now have 80+ members combined! 

We also have recently added our first Latino Chapter in South Bay San Diego named 
"Dulce Exito Social!"  Connecting us to the hispanic cultures and really opening new doors for All Members!  Their Launch Date is August 22!  Let's all be supportive and send them our encouragements!

Our recent Announcement of our Success Center has trully brought us great joy, for here is a place to call your own!  As members, you have access to this beautiful, professional space to host your parties, classses, workshops and special events!  For next to nothing, you can have a professional presence to share with your customers and contacts and be proud of your event!

The Grand Opening date is scheduled for Saturday August 27, from 10am-2pm!  We will have free classes, presenters and vendors available to celebrate this grand event!  We encourage you to share this information with your contacts and friends and let them come out and see this new space created for SUCCESS! 

If you would like to particiate as a presenter (15 minutes) it is free, however we encourage you to have an additional event scheduled there to point people to and even take sign ups on the spot!

Amazing Networking Event! 24hrs!

Yesterday was our 24 Hr Networking Event!  It was real great to see so many people excited about this event!  We had 40+ people sign in and participate. 

The Event began at 7am yesterday morning and ended this morning at 7am!

We had a blast!!!
I met some super people and made good friends too!  I am so grateful for these events where we all get the chance to meet, learn about what we do and why we do it and make real friend connections!

Dont just get to the finish line.... "Go past it"

An inspiring lady said these words to me today and I just smiled and smiled!

Just yesterday I was talking about "pushing through"  finding the Hero in you to help you with
your dreams, your goals and your days events.

I find myself very busy these days... Business growth, new friends to meet, lots to keep track of, little sleep, school readiness, kids being kids, and I know I have big Goals.  However sometimes its hard to see the true, clear Dream, when your mind is full of this "excitement"

Take the time to clear your mind and be calm.  Feed your mind the peace and quiet it needs to keep that (those) Dreams alive!  I encourage you to do this as I encourage myself as well.  I kindly remind myself to
release that stress and revive that dream!

Let's practice together... and help "push through" those obstacles that may hold us back.

However, today's lesson, was bigger..... Practice release and revive but don't stay there!  in other words
don't just get to the finish line.... "Go past it"!

You have it in you and I believe it!
